Abstract

In this article we analyze the pedagogies on heterosexual courtship in some YouTube channels dedicated to the subject, some of them representatives of seduction schools that offer coaching services. We refer to this universe as “seduction experts”, to mean speeches that present themselves as bearers of scientific knowledge on the subject and that sometimes allude to evolutionary psychology and neurolinguistic programming. The recipients are heterosexual men of different ages and Spanish-speaking countries. Bearing in mind that women's movements in recent years have made less visible and questioned sexual harassment, it is that these debates have acquired public visibility and their relevance is impossible to ignore. We employ a qualitative methodology and use the Grounded Theory as a method to process and analyze the information supported by the functions of ATLAS.ti version 22. The sample was made up of YouTube channels called Netkaizen, Play your game and Levantart, as they are among those of greater relevance in Latin America in terms of number of subscribers and visits. We analyze the ways of understanding sexual attraction, the tecniques to induce it, seduction in public spaces and what they say about the sexual act.
