Abstract
This paper aims to show the importante of certain uses of the word in the learning of corporal practices. Firstly, the paper wil review the academic literatura about this issue, in order to show that when it`s implied that the Word plays no role in the learning process, academics are usually refering to specific uses of the word. Drawing from my ethnographic fieldwork with theater students, I wil show how other uses of the Word play a main role in the learning process.
