Caring for the Sensitive: A Proposal for a History of Emotions in the XXI Century

Abstract

The review examines Historia de las emociones para una nueva era: cuidados, riesgos y esperanzas, a book that reflects the current trend in historical studies of emotions. Estela Roselló Soberón considers key figures and events in this history while proposing themes for understanding emotions from a care perspective. This work is part of a new series of books published by the Instituto de Investigaciones Históricas at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. The series aims to promote historical knowledge and teaching, as well as encouraging discussion on current issues.
